Ms Frannie Leautier is currently partner and CEO with the Mkoba Private Equity Fund designed to fill a gap in the current range of private equity available to the region. She is involved in activities offering a unique opportunity to investors to participate in private equity investments in Sub Saharan Africa. She is also a distinguished Professor at Sciences Po in France. She has served the World Bank from 2000-2007.
Mr Vijay Jagannathan brings in over 40 years of experience on development issues, with the first fifteen years as a member of the India Administrative service and the next 25 years in the World Bank. He retired from the World Bank in 2012. Since then he leads sustainable urbanisation work in the World Resources Institute (WRI). In November 2013 he was elected Secretary General of CITYNET, a network of Asian cities, with the Secretariat based in Seoul and Yokohama. Dr Jagannathan holds a PhD in Economics from Boston University and has written extensively on a variety of development issues.
Mr Liu Heng is Director General of the International Center on Small Hydropower (ICSHP) under auspices of UNIDO and China’s Ministry of Water Resources and Ministry of Commerce, and Vice President of China’s Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute. He was a Panelist of United Nations Secretary General Advisory Board on Water and Sanitation / The High-level Expert Panel on Water and Disaster (UNSGAB/HLEP), Chairman of the Regional Steering Committee for International Hydrological Program of UNESCO in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
