WEnergy Global recognised as one of the leading companies in renewable energy development for off-grid areas and knowledgeable on mini-grids is invited at the Business Forum on Renewable Energy Integration in Off-Grid Areas in Palawan on August 13 in Puerto Princesa City in Palawan, The Philippines. CEO of WEnergy Global, Mr Atem Ramsundersingh, as panellist to the business forum will represent WEnergy Global. The business forum is conducted by the Department of Energy (DOE), the Climate Change Commission (CCC) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) under their joint project “Support to the Climate Change Commission in the Implementation of the National Climate Change Strategy and the National Climate Change Action Plan” (SupportCCC). The event is meant to share information and engage into a dialogue with various stakeholders on the integration of renewable energies of off-grid areas. The launch of the DOE-CCC-GIZ study on Renewable Energy Optimization and Business Model Development for San Vicente will be the basis for discussion on how renewables can play a bigger role in off-grid areas.
