WEnergy Global speaks on 5 August at Myanmar Green Energy Summit 2014
Mr Atem Ramsundersingh, CEO of WEnergy Global, will present at the Myanmar Green Energy Summit 2014 on the topic Renewable Energy/Hybrids in Smart Micro-Grids for Rural Electrification on 5 August 2014. The presentation will elaborate on innovative sustainable business concepts on smart grids in Asia. Also highlighting our award-winning project in The Philippines. The Sabang Renewable Energy Corporation’s (SREC) Project, also called the “Sabang Project” in The Philippines, won the Erasmus Energy Business Award 2014, connected to the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus Centre for Future Energy Business. The Sabang Project includes a solar-powered photovoltaic power plant, diesel generators and 15 kilometres of smart grid to supply 650 local consumers, improving their standards of living and helping local businesses to flourish in a sustainable manner.

The Myanmar Green Energy Summit 2014, with the theme "Green Energy As Strategic Drivers for Sustainable Growth", is designed to provide a platform for international green and renewable energy industry players and potential investors to gather in Yangon; providing updated on the market potential and development plan of the green energy sectors in Myanmar; implication of new economic regulations arising from latest parliamentary decision for the energy sectors. The summit will be held on 5-6 August 2014, in Yangon, Myanmar.
