I never thought in my quarter-life that I would be able to experience an actual global crisis. It is going to be a real challenge for everyone, especially for those who have already experienced tragedy (i.e. to those who are affected by the volcanic eruption in the Philippines, January 2020). Living far away from my family is one of the most difficult things that I encounter in these COVID days, I am more comfortable when I am with them in this kind of global pandemic crisis and political crisis. But we cannot predict what will happen, things are getting tough as time passes by.
As we can see that this virus created a dark side, but we should always look on the bright side of life. The whole world just turned upside down, we are all isolated, but we are comfortable because of electricity. We can still continue doing our routines, business, continuous communication with family, entertainment, and more time for ourselves.
We should focus on our purpose and mission “Powering the Planet for Green Growth” especially for rural communities that lack connectivity and promote solar PV rooftop stations for large industries and factories. In this kind of crisis, we, even more, realize the importance of clean energy. During the lockdown, we have experienced the big impact of decreasing CO2 emissions. The Earth is healing amidst this outbreak, and with renewable energy, we can contribute further to Earth’s healing process.
In this company, we also build trust and strengthen communication to help each other to continue our tasks despite this crisis. We should be thankful for everything that we had when this crisis passes, I hope everyone would have a better appreciation of life value and focus on each life goals and purposes. This COVID-19 taught everyone to have more faith in God and be more health-conscious. We all should “Take care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live.” (by Jim Rohn)
