WEnergy Global Pte Ltd, engaged by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Singapore, provided consultancy service for proposed rooftop solar PV station installation at its headquarter. The main objective was to design an optimum solar system, harvesting the maximum sunlight with its available roof space.
Thorough feasibility studies were conducted, including structural and electrical design, with all necessary safety features as well as economic aspects of the Solar PV Station. In our design, all factors are incorporated to assist MHA attaining Green Mark points as well as achieving the highest investment yield.
WEnergy Global designed a solar system size of 80.33 kWp which could generate more than 93,300 kWh of clean energy annually. With 80.33 kWp of solar system, MHA is able to reduce 65 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. These carbon emission reductions are equivalent to burning 27,000 litres gasoline less per year and carbon sequestration by 21 hectares of forests, more than twenty soccer fields, in one year.
