WEnergy Global WINS public tender of the Global Green Growth Institute (www.gggi.org) for a Pre-Feasibility Study on the Hybridisation with Solar PV of existing (diesel) power generation in 8 towns in West Timor, Indonesia. This study will also consider Energy Storage Systems and prepare several financial/business models to make such hybrid systems affordable and reasonable for the local populations.

WEnergy Global PTE LTD is known for its work in The Philippines for the design, engineering and development of a 2.6 MW hybrid solar PV/diesel/Battery and 15 km of micro-grid in Barangay Cabayugan (“The Sabang Power Project”) in the City of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. It has also secured a Power Supply Contract for solar PV-Diesel Hybrid power generation and the use of Energy Storage Systems on the islands of Culion and Linapacan in Palawan. WEnergy Global is a joint venture partner of Gigawatt Power Inc and Vivant Corporation in the projects in Philippines.
