Adding on 25 years in Sustainable Development Finance, 20 years with the World Bank Group, Konrad founded the Climate Change Practice at the World Bank Institute (WBI) and was advisor for Cities & Climate Change and Climate Finance plus Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions. As a project leader he helped introduce economic instruments in environmental management in the Philippines, started up the first Ozone Depleting Substances phase out projects in Malaysia and Thailand, and served as the economist for the China Shandong Urban Environment project. He has worked in Asia, Latin America, and Europe and holds Masters Degrees in Economics and in Political Science from the FU Berlin, Germany. He has been trained by the German Development Institute, and has completed an Environmental Economics Course at the HIID, Harvard.

Bringing in 25 year in sustainable (urban) development, low-emission (carbon) and climate-resilient development in Asia, The Netherlands, Israel and the Palestinian Territories, Oesha has experience across different sectors, such as energy, water supply, sanitation, solid waste and transport, and across different geographical and administrative levels. She worked with large Dutch consultancy firms and with multilateral development banks including the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank as a Senior Urban Development Specialist respectively as a Senior Urban Climate Change Specialist. She holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Design from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, was trained at LEAD Europe in Leadership for Sustainable Development, and is a Certified GRI/G4 Sustainability Reporting Specialist.

Distinguished 35-year career in international Business Technology with focus on renewable energy and electronics. During the last 25 years Hartwig acted as founder, owner, and CEO of SunEnergy Europe GmbH, a pioneer company for Solar PV applications, initially in Germany and later throughout Europe and worldwide, including engagements in India, Mexico and countries in Africa. With his recent enterprise, Free-e, he is developing and promoting new ways of standardisation and scaling up PV in residential and community applications. He gained his academic education and scientific experience in the fields of Astrophysics and Space Physics at the University of Kiel, Germany, where he received his PhD degree in 1981.

Board Director

Adding on 20 years with knowledge in the area of electric power system and protection engineering, asset management and standardisation through IEEE, Cigre, IEC, and the international consortium of GO15 and International Utility Working Group, Shinichi brings extensive experience in business and project development in electricity transmission, distribution, smart grid and smart community in Asian and European markets. He was formerly the Executive Managing Director of Tokyo Electric Power Corporation Power Grid Inc. He was also President and Director of Greenway Grid Global Pte Ltd in Singapore, a Joint Venture Company of TEPCO Power Grid, ICMG, and Chubu Electric Corporation. Currently Chief Technology Officer with Takaoka Toko Co. Ltd. he holds a Masters Degree in Electric Engineering from Osaka University, Japan, and is a certified Professional Electrical Engineer, California, USA.

With his 20-year career in mining and trading of iron ore, steel and related minerals, Jaffe brings extensive experience and expertise in financial services, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and initial public offerings (IPO), financial strategy, and long term budgetary oversight. He has spearheaded business development and expansion in the metallurgy sector in various markets throughout India, Australia, South Africa, West Africa, Venezuela and Brazil. He holds C-suite positions in several international companies. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the School of Finance of the University of Hawaii, United States of America.

During his distinguished 16-year career, Fabian has developed knowledge and skills in the planning, design and construction of RE power plants (both on- and off-grid) and micro-grids as well as the leadership of engineering and multi-disciplinary teams. He has hands-on experience in the sizing of power generation and storage facilities, preparing project specifications, evaluation of electrical and civil engineering contractors, construction site and overall project management as well as quality assurance in the production of complex industrial systems. He has carried out site surveys, feasibility studies and project execution supervisory work in various countries in Southeast Asia and Europe. He holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany and a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the Ecole Nationale des Points et Chaussees, Paris, France. He has been trained in Economics and Mathematics at the Universidade Federal Fluminense, Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Head of Business Development and President of WEnergy Power Pilipinas Inc

Adding on 20 years Quintin has required knowledge and skills in the areas of energy, natural resources, and legal and regulatory frameworks in project development. He brings in an entrepreneurial focus to renewable energy, off-grid infrastructure development, education, community empowerment and sustainable development. He served as anchor and producer of ANC and Bloomberg TV Philippines, focusing on critical business, financial markets, and governance news developments. He hold degrees in Business, International Relations, and Literature from the universities of Georgetown, Cambridge, and Oxford.

Head of Operations Planning & Supply Chain Management

Bringing in 10 years in project operations planning, resources mobilisation and supply chain management, including supply chain compliance to integrity as defined by the company, Penny is responsible for getting equipment and goods to the most challenging sites on the basis of route analysis, best mode of transport and risk and insurance coverage. She also brings expertise in energy business intelligence capabilities that enable rapid tracking of developments in policy changes, compliance matters related to renewable energy connectivity and evaluating quality of data and information. She holds a Bachelors of Business Degree in Transport and Logistics Management from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
